Broken - Juried Exhibition at Kirkland Art Center
I'm excited to share that I have two pieces included in the Kirkland Art Center's juried exhibition Broken. This show explores themes of fracture, repair and transformation.
The works I submitted reflect an ongoing interest in structure and disruption. Through layered materials and shifting geometries, I'm exploring what happens hen order gives way to tension. Or when something carefully constructed begins to fracture and new possibilities emerge from that break.
Being a part of a juried exhibition is always meaningful. It's an opportunity to place my work in a dialogue with other artists who are wrestling with similar questions in different ways. I'm honored to be included.
