Kolaj #43 - Featured Artist!

Being featured in issue #43 of Kolaj Magazine is an exciting milestone in my artistic practice. Kolaj has long been an important voice in the contemporary collage community, highlighting artists who push the boundaries of material, abstraction, and visual storytelling. To have my work included among such a diverse and thoughtful group of artists is both meaningful and motivating.

My work explores abstraction through geometry, color relationships, and layered forms inspired by the Upstate New York landscape and the Adirondack Mountains. While my paintings and collages are rooted in observation, they move beyond representation into spaces shaped by memory, atmosphere, and structure. I am interested in how fragmented shapes and shifting compositions can evoke both physical landscapes and emotional experiences.

Being recognized by Kolaj affirms the importance of experimentation and continued exploration within my studio practice. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my work with a wider audience and to be part of a publication that continues to champion innovative contemporary collage and mixed media art.
